Happy New Year

1/1/2021

Welcome to 2021!  I realize society is not quite the same as it was a year ago, but we can be thankful to say we made it to another year.  I urge you to challenge yourself to think critically in 2021, more than ever before.

What do I mean by "think critically"?  Don't let others tell you what to think, but do your own researching, do your own vetting, discover and learn by forging your own path.  It's unfortunate that so many people are in a "rut" and depend upon groups, corporations, and other people as their sole source of information.

Everyone seems to have an agenda, right?  Sure, you can go out and find hyped up, not-so-true "breaking news" to satisfy just about every type of bias (left, right, up, down, etc.).  I simply encourage you to...

1) realize that everyone else has something they want you to believe also
2) if you find a story claiming something, vet/check it yourself...be your own fact-checker
3) after considering different points of view, make your own decision

Don't let someone tell you what you should believe.  Go out into 2021, stand apart from others, and contribute to making this year better than any before it.

And that's the bottom line.
